Hello to all of you Marshall Mountain Wave readers and greetings from the jewel of the Ozarks, Leslie, Arkansas. We have had a lot of rain this past week. The aquafers are quite full and the creeks and waterfalls are flowing. We have had a few gully washers but mostly it has been a constant gentle rain punctuated with sunshine breaking through the clouds. It has still been kind of cool in the mornings, but the day warms up quickly. We have not hit 90 degrees yet, but we have come close but as we all know the heat of the summer is on it’s way.
It’s going to be a late Happy Mother’s Day, but I wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day, Sunday May 12. Hope you enjoy your family.

April 24 Not much news this week. Sunday after church Don and I drove to Big Flat to eat at “T’s” Tiny Dinner. The food is so good. Teresa had a packed-out parking lot. We had a fish platter and ate with the Cartwrights, 2 families of Chadwicks, Ricky and Brenda Freeman celebrating her birthday. Happy birthday, Brenda. And the Freeman’s children and grandchildren.
