George Allen Sisk, age 98 of Big Flat, Arkansas died Saturday afternoon, March 9, 2024 at The Springs of Batesville, Arkansas. He was born on Roasting Ear Creek in Big Flat, Arkansas on December 3, 1925 to the late Fannie Bell Wallis Sisk and Noah Sisk. He married Jolene Anderson of Big Flat, Arkansas on February 25, 1950. They were blessed with 71 years of marriage and four children before her passing on June 30, 2021.

Marilyn Mabrey Sanders was born March 27, 1933, to Guy and Hazel (Leonard) Mabrey. She died at Highland Court Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marshall on March 1, 2024.

George Uriah Parks Jr., age 76 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Ozark Health Nursing and Rehab in Clinton, Arkansas. He was born in Dennard, Arkansas on January 7, 1948 to George Uriah Parks and Rosemary Timmons Parks. George was married to Judy Elaine Parks for 53 years before her death in 2021.

Jerry Morris George, born November 7, 1936, in Leslie, Arkansas died on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, and brother.

Jimmie Wayne White, age 64 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at home with his family. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 5, 1959 to Eugene Charles White and Christine Brownfield White. Jimmie married Paula Wilson in Wichita, Kansas on March 15, 1980.

Charles Devon Campbell departed this life on February 6, 2024, in his home on the family farm, near Hartville, MO, at the age of 82, after a very short illness. He was born on September 5, 1941, the first child of Charles Henry (C.H.) Campbell and Nellie Cozette (Drewry) Campbell, in Witts Springs, Arkansas.

Sharon Rose Lewis, age 61 of Leslie, Arkansas died on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Prairie County, Arkansas on January 28, 1963 to Frank Leonard Diemer and Shirley Temple Price Diemer. Sharon married the love of her life, Noel Lewis on November 15, 2003, and together they built a beautiful life right here in Searcy County.

Muriel Rose Jane Horton, age 93 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Monday, February 12, 2024 at her home. She was born at home in Grandview, Arkansas on February 26, 1930 to John A. Ragland and Laura Freeman Ragland. Muriel was married to her loving husband, Julian “Jude” Horton for almost 77 years.
