Robert Michael “Zeke” Turner, 74, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died Thursday March 31, 2022, while his wife Gladys held his hand. He was born February 21, 1948 in Long Beach, California, to Vivian Oda (Wellman) Turner and Robert Wayne “Zeke” Turner.

Leon Cooper, age 85 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in Bear Creek, Arkansas on September 11, 1936 to Fred Columbus Cooper and Lena Maye Wright Cooper.

Terry Wayne Wallis, age 57 of Big Flat, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Advanced Care in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born in Marianna, Arkansas on April 7, 1964 to Jerry Wallis and Angilee Marshall Wallis. He was in an automobile accident in 1984, just six weeks after the birth of his daughter, Amber. The accident left him in a coma for 19 years. In 2003 he awoke from the coma and began speaking. He has been the subject of many news and medical articles and was known as “The Man Who Slept for 19 Years.”

Nancy Ann West, 70, of Clinton, Arkansas died on February 18, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Wanda (Kelly) Sanders a n d Benny Arroyo.

Edna Mae Evenson, age 94 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Leslie, Arkansas on February 12, 1928 to Pauline Bratton and raised by grandparents, J.C. Bratton and Kellie Bratton.

Linda Marian Holthusen, age 70 of Marshall, Arkansas died Friday, March 18, 2022 at her home. She was born in Van Buren, Arkansas on July 8, 1951 to Henry Sheppard and Dorothy Taylor Sheppard.

Mary Emaline Goff Collins, age 80 of Leslie, Arkansas died on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was born in Decherd, Tennessee on August 11, 1941 to the late Jack Landis Goff and Mary Lucille Smith Goff.
