Lester Lowell Spriggs, age 95 of Greenbrier, Arkansas died on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab in Greenbrier, Arkansas. He was born in Clayton, New Mexico on May 18, 1926 to Lloyd Spriggs and Bertha Scott Spriggs. He married Edna Johnson of Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was a loving husband for 69 years and a brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a United States Army Veteran and proudly served in WWII. He worked at a power plant in New Mexico for many years.

J.C. Henson, age 86 of Valley Springs, Arkansas, died Friday, December 3, 2021 in Harrison.

On November 28, 2021, Coach C.D. Taylor (Carmon), age 87, dribbled down the court for the last time and landed his final shot. After battling cancer with amazing grace, bravery, and strength, he received the greatest victory as he was greeted by his Heavenly Father with a “Well done my Good and Faithful Servant.”

Christine Ward, age 84 of Marshall, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Bath, Kentucky on May 11, 1937 the eldest daughter of James Robert Collins and Mallie Amburgey Collins.

Thomas Darrell Mainord, age 71 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on July 16, 1950 to Thomas Leon Mainord and Clara Duell Ward Mainord.

Robert Mayo “Bob” Root, age 74 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at John L. McClellan Veterans Memorial Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma on January 17, 1947 to Mayo T. Root and Virginia L. Stotts Root.
