Sticky Cinnamon-Walnut Spirals
Serves 6 • 1/2 cup dried currants • 1 cup hot water • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (from 17.3-ounce package), room temperature • 1 tablespoon butter, melted • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon • 1 tablespoon butter, melted • 1 tablespoon sugar 1. Lemon Poppy Seed Pound Cake

Legislative Update
This week, the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee approved two interim studies regarding tax incentives. The first interim study proposal approved directs the committee to study the sales and use tax exemptions for farm machinery and equipment and the potential use of sales and use tax exemption cards.
