CORA SUE CUMMINS

 Cora Sue (Barnes) Cummins, age 79, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on October 8, 2025. She was born on September 27, 1946, in Marshall, Arkansas, the daughter of Winfred and Bonnie Lou Barnes. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1964.
 Cora received her bachelor’s and master’s Degrees at the University of Central Arkansas. She was a lifelong educator, teaching English and Speech for 37 years in the Conway Public Schools. For six years, she was a literacy consultant with E2E Educational Consultants.
 Her life was very full, being a wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher, yet she also found time to be a lifelong learner. Her recreational interests included gardening, travel, and reading. A more complete obituary appears at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
 A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Conway, Arkansas, with Father Jason Alexander officiating. A reception will follow the service.
