Dorothy Jean Grinder, her Tribal Name “Silver Waters”, age 71 of Dardanelle, died Friday, January 19, 2024 at her home. She was born August 26, 1952, in Snowball, Arkansas to the late Clyde Grinder and Bonnie Jean Caughron Grinder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Charles Stidham, and siblings, Ruble Treece, Glen Grinder, Joann Hilton, Johnny Grinder and Stevie Grinder.

Survivors include her children, John Stidham of Centerville, Kimberlee Nash of Ola, Laura Stidham of Dardanelle; siblings, Betty William of Washburn, Missouri, Sue Grinder of Marshall, Arkansas, Glenda Treece of Clinton, Arkansas, Jerry Grinder of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Gerald Grinder of Washburn, Missouri, Richard “Ricky” Grinder of Big Flat, Arkansas; grandchildren, Andrew and Shana Ralph, Johnathon Freeman, Erin and Tyler Gattin, Cody and Shaila Ralph, Katelyn Freeman, John Jr. (Bubba) Stidham, Krystal and Robin Prosser and great grandchildren, Aubrey Welch, Miley Jackson, Avalee Welch, Noah Ralph, Liam Gipson, Aurora Prosser, Ariel Prosser, Jaxson Bolin, Kaden Prosser, Axel Bolin, Hermione Prosser, Anastasia Ralph, Penelope Ralph and one on the way, River Ralph.

A memorial service was held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Gateway Pentecostal Church in Russellville, AR. Graveside services were held February 17, 2024, in Canaan Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. James Horton officiating.
