Imajean Taylor of Tilly

Imajean Clark Taylor, age 89 of Tilly, Arkansas died on Monday, November 6, 2023 in Morrilton, Arkansas at the home of her daughter, Carleta Grabher surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Campaign, Tennessee on March 19, 1934 to Hardy Hillis Clark and Kizzie Ann Drewry Clark. She married Carl Taylor, the love of her life for 65 years. You never saw one of them without the other.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was known for being a hard worker and gardener extraordinaire.
She raised five children and worked and retired from Flintrock Shirt Factory.
She loved to fish with her children and grandchildren and fed anyone who entered her home. She loved picking and sharing her produce with any and everyone. She probably hosted more wedding and baby showers than anyone on the mountain. She was a joy to everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children, Carleta Grabher (Pete) of Morrilton, Reita Yarbrough (Don) of Marshall, Rhonda Maness (Danny) of Conway and Earnest Taylor (Dorothy) of Marshall; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Taylor of Tilly; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one greatgrandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hardy and Kizzie Clark; step-mother, Leslie “Sis” Robbs; husband, Carl Allen Taylor who passed away in 2017; son, Phillip Roland Taylor; infant grandson, Toby Yarbrough; great-grandson, Hayden Fallen; sisters, Pauline Clark Weaver and stillborn infant, Willodean Clark.
Memorial services for her were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Witts Springs Community Center with Pastor Jim Arnold officiating. Special music was performed by Ryleigh Hudson, Jacy Hinchey, Bro. Jim and Sis. Diane Arnold. Interment was in Witts Springs Cemetery following the service.
