Jackson Harness of Marshall

Jackson Ray Harness, age 16 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas on September 15, 2005 to Donnie Clint Harness and Melissa Duncan Harness Mallett.

He attended the Marshall Assembly of God a n d Loafer’s Glory churches. He attended Marshall High school and was a member of the class of 2023.

He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved hanging out with his many friends.

His parting has left a huge void in many lives. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Melissa Duncan Mallett of Marshall; his dad, Clint Harness of Marshall; step-dad, Gregg Mallett, also of Marshall; sister, Maci Duncan of Marshall; grandparents, Gwen Harness of Landis and Nadra Jackson of St. Joe; uncle, Charles Harness (Markette) of St. Joe; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leland and Patsy Duncan; greatgrandparents, Lester and Velma Harness and George and Mirl Jackson; and aunt, Betty Milam.

Graveside services for him was 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Junior Cole and Bro. Sam Horton officiating. Pallbearers were Jesse Hubbard, Sawyer Horton, Jackson Horton, Bull Bixler, Greg Milam and Cody Pulliam. Honorary pall bearers were Jackson’s Marshall High School Classmates, Class of 2023, Dempsey Milam, Charles Harness and Troy Ragland.
