Kathryn Elaine Watts, age 73 of Harrison, Arkansas died on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Countryside Assisted Living in Harrison. She was born in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma on August 28, 1949 to Vernon Willie Treat and Eudene Dobbins Treat.

She attended the Harrison Faith Assembly of God Church in Harrison, Arkansas. Her strong faith and dedication to her Lord and Savior were uppermost in her life.

She along with her husband Dan was very active in their church, regardless where they were attending. They served in any capacity that was needed.

She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, and shopping for home décor. Family meant the world to her. She and Dan were always the first family members to arrive and assist in family affairs, whether sad or happy. Their nieces and nephews were treated as their very own babies. They loved them with all their heart and there wasn’t anything that they wouldn’t do for them. Her kind and giving heart will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her sisters, Pat Pemberton and husband Sam and Lagatha Sutterfield; little black poodle, Ernie who held a very special place in her heart; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Eudene Treat; husband, Daniel Watts who passed away in 2020; and siblings, Frankie Hatchett and Billy Wayne Treat.

Funeral services for her were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Scott Brandon, Bro. Rick Watts and Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. Visitation was from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. preceding the service. Burial was in Marshall Memorial Gardens in Marshall, Arkansas where she was laid to rest beside her husband, Dan. Pallbearers were Tim Sutterfield, Frank Sutterfield, Steve Watts, Isaac Watts, Jason Watts and Richard Watts. Honorary pall bearers were Eric Watts and Sean Watts. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
