Linda Holthusen of Marshall

Linda Marian Holthusen, age 70 of Marshall, Arkansas died Friday, March 18, 2022 at her home. She was born in Van Buren, Arkansas on July 8, 1951 to Henry Sheppard and Dorothy Taylor Sheppard.
She and her sisters (Brenda and Glenda) were the first set of triplets born in Crawford County Arkansas. Her mother not expecting three daughters let the delivery nurse name the girls and she made the girls first and middle names rhyme (Brenda Karen, Glenda Sharon, Linda Marian). She was widowed at a young age and often worked two jobs at a time to care for her children. She loved watching old westerns, listening to county music, thrift store and catalog shopping, and her beloved cat. She liked to make people laugh and had a giving heart.
Survivors include her son Paul Holthusen of El Monte, California; daughters, Angela Morgan (Jeff) of Monett, Missouri and Amanda Patterson (Jeff) of Marshall; grandchildren, Kelsey Boyd (Logan) of Marshall, Ryan Patterson of Marshall, Katelyne Seal of Anderson Missouri, Wesley Seal of Monett Missouri, Justin Holthusen of San Diego, California, Jasmine Holthusen of Laredo, Texas; great-grandchildren, Danya and Ella Lewis of Anderson Missouri; siblings, William (Sara) Sheppard of Natural Dam Arkansas, Brenda Elmore of Mansfield Arkansas and Glenda Bryant of Fort Smith Arkansas; and many extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dorothy Sheppard; husband, Paul Douglas Holthusen; and daughter, Venus Marie Holthusen.
A memorial service will be held at Shamrock Cemetery in Chester Arkansas on May 28, 2022.
