Ralph T. Haley
Born September 1965 Dayton, Texas to parents Ralph W. and Norma Haley. Ralph departed this earthly place January 15, 2023.
Ralph came into our lives twelve years ago and captured our hearts. He was always there when you needed him, whether building a shed, chicken house, remodeling or his favorite by trade, felling trees.
His passion was hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, canoeing or simply sitting around a fire with friends telling stories, jokes, reciting pages of poetry from memory and occasionally preaching a moving sermon. Ralph loved to shoot guns, building long guns and help others hone their shooting skills. He longed for the pioneer ways and to an extent believed and dressed that lifestyle. He was our “Huckleberry.”
A shout out to his lifelong friends, Mike Votaw and John Hudson both of Dayton, Texas. His neighbors Cesar and Sandra, Jeff Dyrek and Diane Atwood, fishing buddy Scotty Smith and Cindy, Mark and Liza Price, Sherri, Georgia, Mona, Nissa and the apple of his eye, Harley. And a big shout out to his Friday night “Chaperone” George Sharp!!
Ralph, we cherish your memory, and we miss you much. God speed and as your friend Cesar said, “Ralph is in a better place.
