Randy P. Holliman, age 59 of Harriet, Arkansas died on Thursday, October 12, 2023 surrounded by family in his childhood home. He was born in Leslie, Arkansas on June 27, 1964 to Buster Paul Holliman and Ada Mae Miller Holliman.

He was a truck driver for many years. One of his greatest pleasures was being behind the wheel of a big truck.

He had to step down when he was diagnosed with cancer in November of 2021. He continued driving a log truck and logging until his health started failing him.

When he wasn’t working he was out on the water fishing or in the woods hunting.

He loved his family with all his heart and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Shelly Holliman of the home; sons, Samuel Holliman (Daneisha) of Harriet, Curtis Holliman of Scotland and Brent Battershell (Victoria) of Decatur, Texas; mother, Ada Holliman of Harriet; sister, Juanita Holliman of Harriet; grandchildren, Lakelyn Holliman of Harriet, Mayson Holliman of Haskell, Texas, Mariah Roberts of Haskell, Texas, Athena Battershell of Decatur, Texas and Caleb Mainord of Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Buster Holliman; and late wife, Joan Holliman.

Graveside services for him were 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2023 at Rock Creek Cemetery in Harriet, Arkansas with Bro. Darin Holliman and Bro. Phillip Avey officiating. Pall bearers were Randall Layton, Billy Lindsey, William Rains, Clinton Cole, Brent Battershell and Justin Ragland. Honorary pallbearers were Travis Holliman, Sonny Woods, Joe Bennett, Randy Woods, Larry Miller, Jason Switzer and Jerry Arrowood.
