Rev Carl Mize of Big Flat, Arkansas died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. He was born, November 30, 1929, in Big Flat, Arkansas to the late Dexter Mize and Halie Treat Mize.

He was a lifetime member of Round Mountain Community Church. He was a business owner for 60 plus years before he retired as a mechanic and was minister of the gospel for over 72 years.

He is survived by his children, Janet (Tommy) Nichols, Kenneth (Jenay) Mize, Terry (Sondra) Mize and Randy (Gale) Mize, 12 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren sisters, Jewel Freeman and Lorene Southern.

Preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Mize of 50 plus years; son Jerry Mize; a granddaughter, Twilla Stricklin; brother Elvin Mize.

Services was Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Round Mountain Community Church near Big Flat, Arkansas.

Burial was at Pordue Cemetery, in Onia, Arkansas. Memorials can be made to the Round Mountain Community Church.
