Robert (Bob) Parks of Leslie, AR died on Wednesday April 24, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Conway, AR. He was attended by his wife of 54 years Linda, his daughter Christy Armstrong, and son Jeffery Parks.

He was born on May 25, 1949 to George Parks Sr. and Rosemary (Timmons) Parks in Dennard AR.

He was an avid outdoorsman and spent many years hunting and fishing along the Little Red River. Bob was a US Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He spent his last few years riding his great grandchildren Layton, Weston, Brook and Ryker around the farm in his side by side.

Survivors include his wife Linda (of the home); daughter Christy (Scott) Armstrong of Ward, son Jeff (Becky) Parks of Leslie; grandchildren Zak Armstong of Ward, Lynsey Cypert and great grandchildren Layton, Weston, Brook and Ryker of Marshall; brothers, Jim (Sandy) Parks of Bryant, Willie (Shelly) Parks of Grass Valley CA, Mike Parks of Clinton AR, Tim (Lisa) Parks of Marshall, AR, John Parks of Clinton AR.; sisters Gail Mainord of Marshall, AR, “Parks” Obituary Continued to Page 9 Kathy (John) James, of Lowell, AR, Dortha Treece of Clinton, AR. and a host of nieces and nephews that will mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Rosemary Parks, Brothers George Parks Jr, Gene Parks and David Parks and Sister Mary Loggins.

No funeral services will be held however a memorial service will be held tentatively on Saturday May 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM near his home in Leslie. All family and close friends are invited to attend.
