Robert Edward Vannoy Jr., 79, of Leslie, Ark., passed from this earthly life on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his home. He was born in Gainesville, Texas, on October 14, 1945, to Robert Edward Vannoy Sr. and Betty Jo Riggs Vannoy. Robert married Terry Caye Jones in 1977.
 Robert was an excellent salesman and could sell just about anything. He spent his working years as an insurance agent and a car salesman. He enjoyed selling and trading knives and loved a good football game.
 Survivors include his wife, Terry Vannoy of the home; his children, Kyle Vannoy (Melissa), Melissa Vannoy Williams (Kevin), Melanie Vannoy Clark (Kelly) and Robert Vannoy III; grandchildren, Alex Vannoy, Aric Vannoy, Konner Williams, Madison Williams, Lindsey Ackerman, Laurin Bocanegra (Stratton), Konner Clark (Clark), Walker Clark (Massey), Gradyn Baker, Chelsey Cay Weatherly, and Justin Allen Weatherly; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Riley, Lainey, Vada, James, and Aspyn; and many friends and neighbors who will mourn his passing.
 Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Betty Jo Vannoy.
