Scilla Jarrett of Anderson Flat

Scilla Lunell Jarrett, lovingly known as Granny Jarrett, age 94 of Anderson Flat, Arkansas died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on July 3, 1927 to Melvin Jason Robertson and Ada O’Daniel Robertson.

She attended the Pindall First Pentecostal Church. She was a strong, faithful, Christian lady and loved her church family dearly.

She was a woman with many talents. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, sewing and quilting.

She especially loved working in her flower garden and tending her roses. Her wonderful home cooking skills helped her feed many, many family and friends who dropped by for a visit.

She greatest joy came from spending time with her large and wonderful family.

Survivors include her children, Troy Jarrett (Paula), Sharon Jarrett, Clifford Jarrett, Linda Gill, Bonnie Miller (Andy), Rosa Jarrett, Robert Jarrett and Eden Jarrett (Savanah); numerous grandchildren, including grandsons, Terry Jarrett and B.J. Jarrett; and a large host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Ada Robertson; husband, Jack Weaver Jarrett who died in 1984; children, Roy Tabor Jarrett, James Anthony Jarrett and Jackie Jarrett Woodman; siblings, Cecil Robertson and Mary Jean Taylor; and other family members who were close to her heart.

Graveside services for her were 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at Anderson Flat Cemetery in Marion County, Arkansas with Bro. Chris Wyatt officiating. Visitation was 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. preceding the service and was held at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Friends and family served as pallbearers.
