SHARON LAVEL ADAY

 Sharon LaVel Aday, 83, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 21, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1942, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to the late Albert and Daisy Olive Clutts Reeves.
 On April 7, 1961, Sharon married the love of her life, Clyde Aday, in Dover, Arkansas. Their marriage was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering commitment, lasting over 64 years.
 A dedicated professional, Sharon worked as a Cafeteria Manager at Center Valley Elementary School, where she was known for her kindness, hard work, and care for the children. Her life was marked by the love she poured into her roles as a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother.
 Sharon was a longtime member of Hatley Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in the nursery and joyfully participated in Vacation Bible School. In her youth, she and her sisters were known for their beautiful singing during revival services, a gift that blessed many.
 She was also a proud member of the Arkansas Valley Car Club, where she and Clyde enjoyed traveling and making lasting friendships. Her happiest moments were those spent with familygathering for celebrations, road trips, or simply enjoying each other’s company.
 She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Landell Aday; and her sister, Sara Rackley.
 Sharon is survived by her husband, Clyde Aday of Russellville; her daughter, Lavel Harris of Russellville; her son, Lynn Aday (Susie) of Russellville; her daughter-in-law, Cherie Aday of Russellville; her sister, Sandra English of Pottsville; her grandchildren, Jonathan Virden, Jessica Hickman, Colten Aday, and Daniel Aday; her great-grandchildren, Jase Virden, Tristan Hickman, and Rylee Hickman; step-grandchildren, Caitlin Reyes and Dustin Lynch; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.
 A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Humphrey Chapel, officiated by Rev. Joe Yates. Burial will follow at Center Valley Memorial Gardens in Russellville, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
