Vena Rogers of Bergman
Vena Lavina Rogers, age 79, of Bergman, Arkansas, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Autumn Hill Nursing Home in Berryville. The daughter of Johnie and Murl (Smithson) Milam was born October 18, 1942 in Marshall, Arkansas. She attended school at Snowball, Marshall and Harrison, where she graduated in 1960.
She was a hard worker and loved her yard to look beautiful. She loved her cats and birds and enjoyed fishing and crocheting.
She was very hospitable and she loved to have fun and cut up. She was a good cook and no one could make a pot of beans as good as her.
She was a loving and devoted mother and sister. She always required her kids to be home on Christmas morning by 6 AM, and if you were late, you were the last to open your presents.
Vena’s life changed tremendously when she rededicated her life to the Lord. She loved the Lord and being a Born-again Christian. She was a member of Believers Fellowship Church and greatly enjoyed her church family.
