Wanda Lee Rose, age 87 of Berryville, Arkansas died on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Berryville. She was born in Happy Holler, Arkansas on January 8, 1937 to Leamon Haco Branum and Sylvia Edna Watts Branum.

She married Billy Lee “Bill” Rose on June 1, 1956.

She was a charter member of the Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville. She served for many years alongside her husband. She worked in the Berryville School System as a teacher’s assistant for 25 plus years.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. In her later years she was an avid bird watcher.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Lee Doss (Kevin) of Berryville; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Hill of Pea Ridge, Justin Doss (Dani) of Berryville and Lindsey Doss, also of Berryville; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Karson, Brantley, Savannah, Andy and SJ; and many cousins, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Sylvia Branum; husband, Bill Rose died in 2003; daughter, Edna Morris; great-grandson, William Hill; and siblings, Jr. Branum and Mattie Jo Branum.

Graveside services for her were 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Elberta Cemetery in Leslie, Arkansas where she was laid to rest beside her husband, Bill Rose. Bro. Chad Wilson will officiate. Friends and family served as pallbearers.
