Willie Harris of Marshall

Willie Snow Pruett Harris, age 90 of Marshall, Arkansas died on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Snowball, Arkansas on July 16, 1932 to Hollin Snow and Ruth Dean Snow.

She married Paul Ray Pruett on September 1, 1952, who preceded her in death on December 20, 1961. She later married P.J. Harris in 1963.

She was a faithful servant of God and a dedicated prayer warrior. She loved attending church and rarely missed a service. She was always a Christian example and encouragement to her family.

She was a loving mother and Granny, who always put her family first. Spending time with them was her greatest joy. She was a great cook and always arrived at family gatherings with her delicious no-bake cookies.

She was a competitive domino player with her family and held the title of “champion” in the family horseshoe tournament. She was an avid reader, and a dedicated Razorback basketball fan. As long as her health allowed, she was a dedicated walker and enjoyed the fellowship with her walking buddies. Survivors include her daughters, Judy Turner and husband Philip of Marshall and Robin Crow of Bentonville; son, Stephen Harris and wife Molly of Valley Springs; granddaughters, Jill Clark and husband Brent of Marshall, Lindsay Hall and husband Keith of Tontitown, Ashley Rea and husband B.J. of Marshall, Katie Radewald and husband Tyler of Princeton, Missouri and Destiny Harris of Valley Springs; one grandson, Paul Harris of Valley Springs; greatgrandchildren, Kassidy Clark, Kamryn Clark, Fendley Hall, Corbin Rea, Lucy Radewald, Kaisley Clark, Stella Hall, Bryson Rea and Brooks Radewald; sister, Freddie McBride and husband James of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Benny Snow of Catoosa, Oklahoma; and a host of extended family and friends who loved her and will mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hollin and Ruth Snow; husband, Paul Ray Pruett; infant son, Eddie Ray Pruett; brother, Donald Snow; and sisters, Maxine Ragland and Frances Chisum.

Funeral services for her were 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Marshall Community Church in Marshall, Arkansas with Sis. Angie Bower and Bro. Donnie Chisum officiating. Visitation was 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery near Marshall. Pallbearers were Paul Harris, Brent Clark, Keith Hall, B.J. Rea, Tyler Radewald and John Richmond.
