Wilma Racine Ratchford, age 92 of Marshall, died on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Salem Place Nursing Home in Conway, Arkansas. She was born in Zack, Arkansas on February 3, 1931 to Henry and Celia Thompson Eaton. She married Dale Ratchford on November 27, 1948 and celebrated 65 years with him until his death in 2013. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was a housewife. She also worked for Marshall Nursing Home and Area Agency on Aging. She always loved to fish.

She and Dale thoroughly enjoyed their camping days with their lifelong friends, Baxter and Denvalee Roten. She loved being outside and in earlier days when you drove by her house, she could be seen in the yard planting or tending to her flowers.

Survivors include her sons, Roger (Sue) Ratchford of Leslie, AR and Travis (Kay) Ratchford of Lincoln, AR and one daughter Lisa (Bill) Hust of Vilonia, AR; grandchildren, Whitney (Sean) Milliken, Andrea (Brent) Correll, Derek (Heather) Ratchford, Chelsey (Ruben) Paulino and Colton Hust; and great grandchildren, Emily, Isaac, Colee, Ryder, Beket, Maddy, Carson, Jonah, Brennan and Olivia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Willodean Hancock and Wanda Rea and brothers Gerald Eaton and infant brother Willard Eaton.

Graveside Services for her was 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023 at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, AR with Bro. Sean Milliken and Bro. John Eaton officiating.
